Cut off the base of the cauliflower head so that it forms a flat surface. Cut away the thick green stems. Stand the head up on the cut end so the floret is facing up. Slice to make 1-inch thick cauliflower steaks.
In 3 separate large bowls: add flour to one bowl, in another bowl whisk eggs and milk, and the third bowl should have the bread crumbs. Dip the cauliflower in the flour, then the egg mixture and then cover in bread crumbs. Place breaded cauliflower steaks on greased baking sheet.
Drizzle oil over the breaded cauliflower, add salt and pepper and bake at 400 F degrees for 25 minutes. Remove steak, top with some tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella slices. Return to oven for another 15 -20 minutes.
Let rest for a few minutes, sprinkle with Parmesan and serve with a side of pasta or sautéed greens.
