Fresh & Toasty Turkey Panini
Serves: 4
Ingredients
- 8 slices Galbani® Fresh Mozzarella ball
- 2 Tbsp. whole grain mustard
- 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 8 slices seeded whole grain bread
- 12 slices smoked turkey
- 1 cup baby arugula
- 4 Tbsp. fig spread/jam
- 4 Tbsp. salted butter, softened, divided
Directions
- Mix together whole grain mustard and mayonnaise.
- Spread 1 Tbsp. mustard/mayo mix on each of 4 bottom slices of bread.
- Lay 2 slices of turkey, then 2 slices of Mozzarella on each. Top each with ¼ cup of arugula.
- Spread 1 Tbsp. of fig spread on each of the 4 top slices of bread. Lay fig-spread side down on top of each sandwich.
- Spread softened butter on outside of top and bottom slices of bread.
- Place in panini press and cook until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Cut sandwiches in half and serve.

If you don’t have a panini press, don’t fret! You can easily toast the sandwich on a regular pan like a grilled cheese.
