Eat at room temperature for best taste and texture
As with most cheeses, fresh mozzarella is best eaten at room temperature. For the softest texture and fullest taste, remove it from the refrigerator 30 minutes to an hour before you plan to serve it.
Buying and Storing Tips
Store unused cheese in liquid
Uneaten fresh mozzarella is best stored in water. So, keep the water when you have water-packed mozzarella. If you need to store unused fresh-sealed fresh mozzarella, simply place it in a container with water and a sealed lid. You may want to change the water daily.
Eat within a few days
As with all fresh cheese, Galbani® fresh mozzarella tastes the best when it's at its freshest. So you'll want to consume it within a few days after being purchased.
